I've been looking to get an FSM for 1993 240 for a little while now. Oddly, Ebay has been a total bust for me. The only things I find on Ebay are cheap rip-off CD versions (not the real CD, just scans) or someone in Canada selling copies.

I don't really want to pay shipping for a big *** book from the Great White North, and I would rather not pay top dollar from my local Nissan dealer unless I have to.

Does anyone know of a good place to get Nissan FSM's?

I was hoping I could use http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/nissan/ but they don't go back to '93. :(

Yeah. That's the Canadian guy. He probably sells a dozen a week. The $15 shipping seems rather high, but maybe I'll just have to go for it.

Hi,That Canadian guy is a RIP OFF! I went to a local Nissan dealerand I picked up the S13 FSM for $46CDN ($32USD).

Trust me, check with your local Nissan dealer first because theycan order it for you.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy from that guy on eBay. Not thathe's a scammer, but it's totally not worth it.

His deal is $59USD + $10CDN shipping =~ $96CDN!

I assume the S14 manuals would be a little more expensive.

Bye!

Wow...I just talked to my local Nissan dealer and they want $73 for a 1993 240SX FSM. It's the same price from Dyment Distribution. Of course, both of those prices include shipping.

I was also wondering how to get the Service Bulletins for my car too. I found this...

http://www.alldata.com/TSB/41/93411337.html

Some of those look pretty interesting. Do you suppose that's all of them? I wonder if that's worth $25 a year. It seems like it might be a nice supplement to the FSM.

My local Nissan dealer said they could possibly get TSB's in a book for $56, but I'm a bit skeptical. I've never heard of those being sold to the public.

Does Jayson work for nissanwholesaleparts.com? If so, I asked them and they unfortunately don't sell FSM's. Looks like I have to wait for one on Ebay or bite the bullet and get one from the dealer.

What about alldata.com? Anyone have experience with that service?

The funny thing is that the price for the '93 FSM hasn't changed since at least 1998. $73 seems pricey, but it's probably equal to the cost of 30 min labor by a Nissan tech. :)

Hi,I don't think $60USD ($84CDN) would get you a S14 FSM.I believe it's closer to $100CDN ($70USD). But this is justa guess.

I did a group for my local 240sx club for S13s. Don't think I'd wanna do it for those in US, unless I make some money off it for the labour/gas :D

Bye!

I bought mine at the local Nissan dealer for just under $50CDN. (1989 s13)The rest of the prices you guys got quoted sound like a ripoff to me.

If you want a quality manual dont look at any of the non-Nissan ones. They are incomplete.

BTW... I have a used '89 FSM if someone wants to make me an offer on it. Or trade + cash for a '96. This manual has definately been used, and is by no stretch of the imagination new. But it works just the same

You might find one on ebay. S14 FSMs run around $70+ brand new. Good luck finding one at a cheaper price.

That would be awesome, Laurel.

In general, how is the Alldata site? Is it worth $25 for the DIY site?

Laurel...if you're out there, could you do me a huge favor? Could you get me the following TSB's?

98-09298-09493-06289-131

I'll be your biggest fan forever if you can get those...I desperately need them (esp. the timing chain ones).
