good place to find trannys

im lookin for a freshly rebuilt KA transmission to use on my SR (my gear synchros are goin to hell inna hand basket on my SR...and believe it or not...the SR transmission is the same internals as the KA...just slightly longer gear ratios) anways...anyone know of a good place to find freshly rebuilt KA24de trannies???

i could swear that the ka transmission won't bolt up to an sr engine...

if i remeber correctly the ka transmission is sufficient for an sr. ive gotten good feedback on jasper remanufactured engines so id think the same goes for the trannys

You'll find low-mile 240SX transmissions on http://www.car-part.com - Look for a '97-98...cost is about the same, and the mileage is usually lower.

And they do interchange...you have to change the bellhousing, or use just the gearset (internals).
