Good old suspension on J

So i've seen around stuff about the suspension on the J30 how there is no aftermarket, ect. I'm well aware of this and i took my J into the shop to get the suspension looked at. My result? I have no suspension lol. My boots are destroyed. The mounts bad, the ball joints are ruined and i need new struts and shocks. Total damage with labor? 3,500. No way in hell will i pay that. So... the boots are usually 60 a piece, i brought new OEM boots (2) for 20.00 bucks yeah i said it, 20.00 dollars. apparently the J doesnt have just the ball joints you have to buy the control arms too. So i found 2 for 130.00. (150.00 together) now i just need the struts, shocks and mount.

I have two questions. What is the electronic strut? is that the struts themselves or another part? and I know someone who is parting their 95 J and is will to part with the struts and shocks for 25.00 each So will a 95 J struts and shocks fit my 93? thanks!

edit on that. Damn mechanic gave the prices and list all retarded.. The electronic struts are the struts ( duh) but will a 95 J struts fit my 93?

The "t" models from '93 and '94 with HICAS had some slightly different suspension components. I believe the struts are different on a '95 non HICAS "t".

Plus they would probably be 14 year old struts !!

And where did you get the boots and Lower arms so cheap ??Used or new ??

on ebay. It was a luck shot lol. I got both boots for just 20.00 dollars, not 20.00 dollars each, 20.00 all together with free shipping. The Control arms i found come with the left and right control arm with ball joints and bushings and front and back tie end rods, ect. for 130.00 i'll send you the link if you want?
