Man, seems like this is one of the most frequently asked but unanswered topics.

I'm looking for a good, inexpensive no frills exhaust for my turbo KA. But, I don't want to see anything but a pipe in the back.

Dynomax makes some good perforated core straight through mufflers and a bullet race muffler that can also be used as a resonator.

My question is, how much silencing will I need with the turbo? Will the small bullet style resonator be enough or should I use a larger oval type? What about 2 of the bullet types?

I used a flowmaster 40 series. I would stay away from them because the guy who did my dyno says they create alot of back pressure. I run with out a resonator and it is pretty loud

OK, I'm looking at the Magnaflow 5" X 8" center/offset for $81 from Summitt.

Hopefully this will give me a nice growl without being obnoxious.

Just figure that a turbo is 1/3 of a muffler.
