Threw it back in as far as I could. The driveshaft needs to be shortened among many other things, but in the meantime I'll be focusing on dealing with the cooling and electrical stuff.Lots of work ahead :D

The problem is that the stock manifold places the turbo in the exact same spot as the steering box, which leaves two options: replace the steering setup; or have a manifold made up. I chose the latter :DMost likely a log manifold made from weld-els with a T3 flange, possibly an equal-length. Either would set the turbo closer to the front of the engine. Decided on a GT32, 71mm.

The bay will be sprayed black, just need to get the more pressing tasks out of the way.

Indeed :D

So many things that I hadn't anticipated, just part of the game.

Have you sorted out the wiring with the CA and bosy harness?

I didn't mean any harm! I have a couple of friends with 510s and one has a CA, but not installed and the other one wants a CA, but ain't gots no money and your car is prettier than both of theirs. I'm pretty sure that when it's all said and done, your car will look as good as it runs.

No harm, no foul :D

Do you know if there was a year breakdown of the engines with the oil cooler assembly?

I can't say if the 180sx got the oil cooler or the sylvia. I would assume the later years got the water-cooled oil thinga-majiggies.

I was quoting you 'cause that's what I wanted to type. I was referring to fanta about the mounts.
