The problem is that the stock manifold places the turbo in the exact same spot as the steering box, which leaves two options: replace the steering setup; or have a manifold made up. I chose the latter

Most likely a log manifold made from weld-els with a T3 flange, possibly an equal-length. Either would set the turbo closer to the front of the engine. Decided on a GT32, 71mm.
The bay will be sprayed black, just need to get the more pressing tasks out of the way.
