moar BTBAM...white walls, epic song, epic-er solo

no video, but heres the audio from colors live, theres live vids there but its worth losing video for the sound quality...

if you want live just check some of the related vids

part 1:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQlRvrRIHm0

part 2:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ix08jWxpzmY

and actually heres a rip of the dvd of just the solo:

and finally prequel to the sequel live, also ripped from dvd, first 50 secs is the end of the song before but its worth watching also:

White Walls is a great song...the whole screwing Colors CD is great. It's funny that you mention Prequel because I just downloaded the tab 30 minutes ago and I was practicing the opening riff just before I opened this thread, lol. It's actually not as hard as I was expecting to play.

I just dont want to tune down to C# just to practice this song, lol. I guess I'll just always play it a step higher. I love that intro riff though. I think thats the only reason why I'm learning the song.

I still need to learn all of Selkies. It's almost redundant though since I know I wont be able to play those sweeps at the end for a while. I've gotten much much better with my sweeping, but I'm still not that good.

I'm a big 36 Crazyfists fan, first got into them in 04 with their A Snow Capped Romance album. I also have their album Rest Inside The Flames, both albums are great. I haven't heard any of their new stuff from The Tide And Its Takers, I have to check it out. This is my favorite song from them...36 Crazyfists- Destroy The Map

My girlfriend loves Cradle of Filth, I can't stand them though. Just something about them screams "I'm trying so hard to be a black metal vampire". I love Alesana though, I've been into them since On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax.

I'm not really into emo/screamo bands, but here's one that I really enjoy.

Vanna- A Dead Language for a Dying Lady

+1 for Norma Jean. Saw them last month in Charleston and it basically grenaded my brain. +1 for I Killed The Prom Queen. They broke up.

One of my favs is definitely Bring Me The Horizon. I don't think they've been mentioned yet. Search anywhere once and you can find them. Only heard their latest album and the one before it. Loved both. I don't really like trying to classify, just check them out and I think you'll be happy. Recommend 'For Stevie Wonder's Eyes Only' if you want a quick slice of what they're like.

Didn't they release an album not that long ago? Haven't really been into them since Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child, so I haven't heard it.

Yea I heard about Tim Lambesis's side project from a metal magazine, he plays all the instruments on the album, very talented guy.

Norma Jean released The Anti-Mother this year. The tour I saw them at a month ago was for that album, so they're still kickin'.

Never heard of them, but they are pretty sick. That solo towards the middle was pretty awesome. Love the album art, looks like something out of Final Fantasy X

I'm with you on that one, they switched lead singers after that album. Why do so many good bands do this, why can't band members just get along?

While I do agree that their Bless the Martyr album was their best, Oh God, The Aftermath was good. Redeemer had it's moments. Their new one, The Anti-Mother is almost a like a completely different band. I still appreciate a couple songs but it's not like their old stuff.
