Hey I have a 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan, automatic transmission, and I'm looking for a pair of GOOD intake systems. I would like to increase the HP a lil and add a great sound to the FACTORY exhaust system. I dont have any plans on touching the exhaust right now...also???

would a intake system w/ pop sensor make a difference? and i would LOVE the PSSSSSSSSSSSP sound if possible.

HELP HELP HELP HELP

Expect 12-15hp gains. I do carry replacement filters which are $50-60. You won't need those anytime soon as they only need to be cleaned with compressed air.

Appears I need to update that information, those are the spring rates/drop for the early year sedans. The 07+ has model #teinSKP92-BUB00 and the drop is what you stated. I don't know of anything that is going to drop the sedan an 1" or less and that is probably what you are looking for with the wheel size you have.

I have an R2C on my 2009 G37 which has the same dual intake setup and love the sound! Typical HP gains from an intake kit...around 5-10 probably. Fit and finish is top notch!

You will not get any power out of an intake system on our motors unless the filters are located in just behind the grille. Like the stillen set-up. I have the K&N typhoon intake and it is very similar to the RC2. I also have a Dyno sheet that shows horrible #'s on my car after installing the intake. 184 tq and 229 hp. ( I live at 5500 ft.). I also added exhaust 3 mo. after and it hurt even more. My car was running so rich it is crazy. I guess it was rich because the ECM was overcompensating for the new air flow. So I had my car OSIRIS tuned 2 days ago. Now its a monster. I gained 30 tq and 15 hp. My tuner informed me that intakes like the RC2 and K&N suck because they are taking in even more HOT air than stock would. More air, but hotter air. That is robbing me of 8-10 whp. Huge. I don't have the $$$ to spend on the Stillen right now or else I would do it. lol I am new here. How do you upload pics!!! lol

Every car responds differently to mods because of the ECM's factory settings. First you say you lost power, but then after you had the tune your car is a monster. So properly tuned, you made horsepower, sounds like to me the intakes did make more power. What was the baseline dyno numbers for your car? What kind of dyno? All important factors here that must be known.

Being @ 5500ft is definitely not helping your cause.
