Just bought a '93 Q45 and want to address the vibration so many have discussed here. Don't know whether it is driveshaft or mounts or what have you, but the car is so delightful I want it right.
Also, what is the best spring/strut combo for a bit firmer ride without it becoming too harsh?
Good independent shop in Phoenix?

Ive had tokico shocks with the stock springs, driven stock shocks and stock springs, and tokico with eibach...
Honestly, out of all of them, i prefer the eibachs and tokico.. My Q is tuned it seems more for a performance handling ride, where with my old one was more of a quiet, very luxury ride... The best overall was the stock and tokico, but I really do like the eibach and tokico.. It IS a little firm, but you get used to it... Its still very smooth on the interstate... PLUS, IMHO, if you have bigger rims, lowering is KEY to make it look just right...
Most, for an overall luxury ride but a little firmer still prefer the stock spring/tokico combo...
Talk to AZhitman, and he has a mechanic dude he knows thats REALLY good.....

I just sent you an e-mail. I live out in Buckeye, but I work in Scottsdale/Tempe. I bought the Q as a cruiser to commute in when I'm not riding my FZ1. I love it but worry about the vibes I feel and it is waaay to softly sprung (old stuff just worn out, I would imagine).
A good "shadetree" mechanic is EXACTLY what I am looking for! please pass on the info.

I better not drive his. I like mine, but fear driving a really well sorted one before I can afford to mod mine suitably.
