Hey guys, I am a new member here, actually just registered a couple of days ago.

Anywho, I have been bouncing all over the place as to which kind of Nissan i want to get, but I think my search may come to a close soon enough.

I found two 300zx in my area for sale, one is a white 5spd with I dunno how many miles, but I emailed the guy.

Doesn't really matter though, because apparently he got a new engine for the car but it needs to be hooked up.

I am thinking if I can drop him down another 200 dollars, I take the car home, and drop it off in my garage, and possibly attempt at reconnecting this car.

I don't know how much of a hassle 300zxs are, but their bodystyle is intriguing, and not to mention the twin turbo'd versions haul major ***.

There are several options I can do with this car, I can get it to my house, then order VG30DETT with the transmission, get that over to my house and attempt to hook it up.

I understand the complexities of 300ZX and how hard they are to work on, but if I decide to take the engine that this guy already has in the car, how hard would it be to hook everything up. IF this guy is telling the truth.

Another option I have is to take a look at this black one http://tucson.craigslist.org/car/261994600.html

It's running, it looks in damn good shape, and its black.

Not sure which route I would go with, dunno if I want to wait, but the thought of me cruising in a 300ZX is a nice thought.

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to post the link to the white one http://tucson.craigslist.org/car/260939193.html

ouch, looks a bit rough for the price, honestly given it's an N/A non runing basket case with a crumpled quarter and worn interior, I'd pass unless he'd take about half what he's asking, unless you are confortable with you're abulity to pput it back together stay away, there are lots of running N/A's in better shape for lettle more than his asking price

ans if you do get it and do the TT swap a front cut is the way to go
