LOLZ!!!!!!!!! wow... I doubt he was lucky.. That's def an experienced car theif behind the wheel. If he did that once then maybe yes but he did it twice... The 2nd time almost like a stunt man or something... The 3rd time the move he pulled with going reverse... that cant be luck...

Werd up for his driving skills but yea... a$$hole for stealing someone else's car.

I just feel bad for the vehicle's owner since the cops literally trashed the body lolz

edit: The cop cars seemd to gain speed on the mustang pretty fast... How much horses/torque do those crowns have?

yeah, stupid pigs for stopping some ****in' moron from killing somebody...

stupid for using strategy and pushing him into walls and curbs...

stupid for putting ugly checkers on thier car...oops:D

I bet his face was a lot worse after that, I'd have kicked the **** out of him when I caught him.

oh, those Vics are pretty damn slow really, the thief was either a ***** and not putting his foot into it or it was a 3.8 stang.

they should be governed at 126 or 125.

Ford says 235hp/275 lb/ft of torque for the '02, but they are pretty heavy...4000+ lbs, I believe.

the Vic should actually be closer to 5000.

big suckers.

going on the lame Cobra R wannabe spoiler on the car, it was probably the 3.8. An actual Cobra R and a driver with some skill would dust the cruisers.

the crown vic has more power behind them for the police Cruisers. Different fuel management and better suspension parts. a few other things oh yeah and an awesome alternator. Ive ridden in them Ive been in some for over 8 hours at a time, with pee brakes of course. I have been in them with the floored they are pretty fast but not as fast as the impalas and intrepids they are going to know. that impala will kick you in the seat, and I can prove it. took me and the seat one time.

I can tell by the wheels that its only a v6. No gt would have been pulled on by cruisers like that.

Ya they got awesome alternators, I had to have cops help me jump start a car once at the court house. And ya they're V8s.It was pretty funny cuz the cops didn't really know what to do, lol and they were swearing lol.

haha, I didn't even think to look at that...

just figured it was due to him not leaving the Vics.

I can't remember if the Mustang is governed or not, I'm betting no, but Ford's kinda dumb at times and will do that, especially on the automatic models...

Police Interceptors have 32v Cobra engines IIRC. And that is a V6. You can tell by the badge on the side and the exhaust. Saw this the other day on 20V Forums. Crazy stuff.

I always wanted to pick up an old Police Interceptor at auction. Having a seat with an "anti-stab plate" is always a plus in my book. The only thing holding me back is the thought of all the bodily fluids the rear seats have probably seen over their lifetime.

Oh, that brochure I linked to lists the curb weight on the base model 2002 Interceptor at almost 4000 lbs even.

that's why the rear seat is vinyl:D

damn, guess they lightened the suckers...they were heavier then my car at one time.

Maybe Ford fudged the numbers on that brochure. Heh...maybe they're using more USDM mad-tyte carbon fiber now. ;)

It might be nice having a car that you can clean the back seats with a garden hose...depends on what you do back there, I guess. :D

4000 is correct for a factory trim Crown Vic. The police use them due to the full-frame design. You can bash those cars over curbs like you wouldn't believe.

Those must have been crazy sticky tires and at least 255's+ because no amount of driving skill can make up for a spin at that speed on tires that wont stick. That thing just grabed and took off.
