Good Double Dins?

I've been thinking about getting a new deck for my a/c.... and my bday is coming up in like 3 weeks.... so i thought i'd look into getting a double din.... what are some good ones out there? looking to spend around $300-(maybe) $500

i got a pioneer avh-p4000dvd slightly used off of ebay and with all the stuff u need (dash...adapter...antenna adapter) and also the ipod cord and usb cord and the relay to bypass parking brake i paid 350 bucks and it looks and works great! i love it! pioneer units are amazing!!!

yea that includes installation. i could probably work him down to $400 or $375

The 3100 is the same one I am looking at. It looks like it is rated well in reviews. Sonic Electronix has it for $349.

I'm also considering the Alpine iXA-W404.

i looked at the Alpine, but it seems to be mainly for ipods. which i do NOT have. i have an MP3 player. i don't believe in apple....

Yeah, I am in the same boat as you...I figure I use mainly digital media so that is all that mattered. I just want something that is going to look nice.

yea idk what are some good double dins out right now... that's why i'm trying to get some input... if my guy doesn't have it, he can get it... i don't want anything with ipod integration, because i stated before i don't do apple products. so i need it to have an aux input for my mp3 player
