i got a used set of tein basics with only 1,000 miles on them for $550. if you can find a slightly used but perfectly working set i would reccomend going that route. search around in the bst forums, i know ive seen tein hh's for $1000

I highly recommend the D2/Ksport coilovers. I've got 9/7 D2's w/ camber plates and they rock the house.

If you really want those k-sport coilovers, send trix an email, and they'll probably get you a good deal on them. Or you can talk to mark who also has some shipments on the way for the d2 coilovers.

He was the guy that took over the original d2 coilover group buy from me. Talk to him on aim at advautoparts. He just got a fresh shipment, so he might have extras.. but he's not a NICO sponsor.

Anybody has a link to specs for s tune coilovers? What is the drop? I was looking on nismo website but couldn't find anything.

I am also looking at Tein HE or FLEX for S14. What is the difference other than EDFC? I am planning to use them for autocross, track, drifting and daily driving.

The nismo coilovers are just that, coilovers, meaning you can adjust the height ;)

As for HE vs. FLEX, Tein describes the FLEX series in their brochures as being for show use, i.e.; if you're actually going to drive your car hard, buy the HE's :)

Also as another side note, it's possible to get the EDFC working with just about any coilovers on the market, it just takes a little work.

Daniel, I've got a new set of the GP GR-6's sitting in my garage if you're interested. I'm going for Zeals instead.

Yeah, I get that impression too but I'm not sure... damn, that sucks... I should have the $600 that would have been necessary by mid-late June... (bangs head against desk, growls in pain, yells "STUPID STUPID!")

Doubt you'll be able to try them before you buy them since they wouldn't be new anymore. I picked up another set for another local guy but he said they're stiff but had them set on hard settings. They're flat through turns and the gratuations on the side make it very easy to adjust them. Their spring rates are 9kg/7kg which is the same as the JIC FLT-A2's but with better build quality (I can assure you of that since I've tried the JIC's on my buddy's s14 and the local guys s13 was just damn sweet). I gotta ask for 1600 shipped, but they cost me 1800 so I'm taking a pretty fat loss and you'd get them like within a week or so. If you're able to find a better price, let me know their price shipped since I want my function d's and gotta move these coils out of my garage.
