Hi guys, I'm super new here, but my frustration with a particular problem has prompted me to take this question to some forums. I've been having a problem with a roof creak in my sunroof, very close to the problem in this particular thread..

http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread?id=368294

To resolve this I've done everything people have suggested to remedy the problem at Glendale Nissan, in Glendale CA. I'm in the general Los Angeles area near Glendale so it's the closest service center. The service and attention to my problem has been horrible. I've gone through all the hoops and they refuse to acknowledge the problem still exists even after they confirmed it the first time they did a diagnosis, attempted to fix it, and failed. They maintain that there is nothing out of the ordinary. Myself and anyone who's ridden in the car with me know otherwise.

So, this leads me to the main question: Does anyone know of a reliable dealer/authorized repair facility (if such a thing exists) in Los Angeles that isn't staffed by a bunch of hacks who give you the runaround? The car is a brand new 2008 coupe, a lease, and therefore under warranty. They simply won't do the digging needed to solve the problem, which honestly, I myself know how to fix. But without the sound being evident to them, they simply won't take the appropriate measures and my warranty is essentially standing in the way of doing the repair myself.

I'd love any feedback anyone can provide, I'd love to find a mechanic who can perform the under-warranty service that I can work with.

Thanks!

I hate that place. Try Downton L.A. Nissan. To me they have been way better in every way than when I used to go to Glendale Nissan.

Thanks Jose,

Actually I think I saw that a couple of people, possibly on this forum, found that Downtown LA Nissan was a better shop.

Thanks a lot, I'll give them a try.. one of the Glendale managers told me to take the issue up with Nissan USA and possibly have a factory technician check it out. I'm going to talk to them as well. It's so much crap for such a small problem.
