The price and the financing sound pretty damn good.

The oil change service isn't really a discount over what you would pay the dealer over that time period to do the same... plus some peoples' dealers actually throw that in free.

As for the warranty... saying "gold" warranty doesn't say a whole lot, it means different things at different dealers. However, with how reliable Versas are predicted to be, you probably would have been ahead of the game if you had just taken that money and thrown it in a CD or investment account.

Gold Warranty - the top warranty they offer for 5 year 60,000.

Yah I figured that I won't need it but I had a 2000 GA GT and wish I had it so this gives me some piece of mind...

Your price is withing $11 of what I paid and the only difference is mine had wheel locks.

I feel like we both got a good price but you will find out somebody always got a better price. The Versa has very little holdback so some of these over the top prices you see on different forums you have to be kind of skeptical of. PS-Was the $18,495 after the college grad discount?

That looks like a good deal.

On the oil change and rotation I think a key question is 'how far do you live from this dealer?' I bought the lifetime oil change for my Acura 2001 and used it for 6 years. But it was a bit of a trip to the dealer and there were so many oil change places much closer to me. It would have been more convenient to go somewhere else.

I live pretty close to the dealer and it is where alot of stores I shop at are. Also the $18,495 is before the college discount. So the top line was actually 200 below invoice. (300 over minus 500 = 200 under)

They did offer me one that was on the lot for 100 over invoice but it wasn't what I wanted. (I checked every box available on the web site...)

He said he gave me a "Fleet" discount on the warranty.... something like 15% but i'm sure that is what happens with everyone.

So far I am crazy happy with the car. Sharp looking fun to drive and versatile.

Sounds pretty good to me.

And an excellent color choice, too!

I have had mine for 4 weeks yesterday and have a little over 2500 miles on it. The more I drive it the better I like it. As soon as they have some Sentra SERs I am going to try and talk my wife into trading in her 05 CRV then I will have 177HP to play with.

I got all the bells and whistles and the 1% financing. It was a no brainer. The car is "sweet" I continually marvel at how quiet it is ... have to look at the tac to see if the engine is running. Good on twisties ... I also ride motorcycles. The four banger is smooth as a babies bum and the transmission is well suited CVT. My wife pcked the color of Magnetic Grey and I was not happy with the choice until I saw it parked with others and I now think it was the best choice for us. I must have sold three to my friends and got zero bird dogs for it but they have bought me coffee a few times as they too are pleased with the choice. The only small, very small complaint would be the sound system bass is just not there, I get better bass from my computer. The bluetooth is wonderful and makes it easy to talk and drive although I would like to see the day when they ban cell phone use in cars ... I have seen too many stupid drivers ... it would be ok for a quick call but can you imagine someone arguing and yelling on the cell and driving straight though a red light .... saw that yesterday. Anyway the car is super.

I love the interest you got on this car. Tell me, is this rate only for the top of the line versas?

Paid the list plus tax and it was still cheaper than either a Fit or Yaris and they do not have 5 Star Crash rating or the extras that the SL has. I had to wait a month for the car.

This is the page of current offers straight from the Nissan homepage.

Looks like ANY Versa gets .7% up to 36 months for well-qualified buyers.

I felt the same way about magnetic grey (I was all prepared to order a Blue Onyx with beige interior until I saw the magnetic grey). I paid something like $18,500 for my Mag Grey SL with sill guards, splash guards, floor mats, ABS package, wheel locks, and 6% financing. Didn't spring for the warranty or the maint. package, and I didn't want the sunroof (because it required everything else I didn't want). Love the car to death! Smooth, well equipped, surprisingly quick, and comfortable as hell.
