Good Deal?

My local Nissan dealer still has a new 2005 Pathfinder LE on the lot. Sticker is $35800, and they've it listed at $31400.

I met with the dealer on this 2005 today. Here's where we're at: Dealer Invoice: $33,105 less Nissan rebate -$1,500 Dealer holdback -$935.00 _________________________ $30,670

When I left the dealer, I had them down to $29,635. The dealer definitely wants to get rid of this vehicle, so I know I can do better. Here are more specs: 2005 Pathfinder LE 980 miles Heated leather seats Bose 6 disc CD changer (doesn't have navigation system) I'm wondering what your thoughts are on the 2005. Should I even consider this vehicle or should I look at a 2006 or 2007? Or I am passing up a bargain? What can I counter offer with? Thank you.

I think that's a very good deal.

With such low mileage being an 05, I'd think it was a demo model.

Another thing you should consider is that the 05 is the first new model out for the present generation. Usually first models have more problems than the next year. If they give you warranty equivalent to brand new, I'd buy it.
