good deal or not

I finally found someone that has not 1 not 2, but 5 S13 HB's.

Now here's the deal. He is willing to sell the one he has already taken the engine out of, wired up the S30 harness, and have pretty much ready to install a red top SR20DET. He is also willing to put the engine in the deal. Except for the dust from years of sitting everything is fine with the body. The engine he's throwing in looks pretty decent. He does have it sitting on it's oil pan, but I would do the correct thing in replacing with a Greddy one.

All of this for $3500. I'm sort of on the fence about this one be I know if I took the time to remove the engine and put in the harness it would (in amount of my time) cost toal for that. Not to mention finding 240SX nowdays with no accidents or rust it's increasingly hard especially for S13's.

So here would be the price run down if I was to buy and do everything myself:

750-1500 for a 240sx with issues50-500 for a tow from in town or LA1300-3000 for an SR20DET1000 cost of labor for the whole swap

Looks pretty close. Wish I had Zlusters time to do all the fixing of cars he does.

Test the motor to make sure that its good. B/c he could be selling a good body and a blown motor
