I got mine for a tad over $25k (w/o tax) in 08 w/o the leather package, crossrails, moonroof or the aluminum kick plates. So compared to mine, it's a pretty decent deal. However, not much negotiating was done on mine. (I wasn't the one paying, so I wasn't the one negotiating)
However, cars in AK, new or used, are more than in the lower 48. Just the way the market is here.

You may want to check Zag.com for a free "low price" from local dealers.
I did that and used the numbers as a starting point for my negotiations just last month. I actually asked all dealers to contact me by e-mail only, including price quotes. This gives you leverage to use one dealership against another.

Setup a new gmail account and google phone to take care of all the spam and junk calls you'll get if you submit it with your information.

I just did zag.com

It says before rebate the price should be: $26,680 where as mine was $25,500 so I guess its not bad being $1180 under www.zag.com price.
