Good deal on OEM taillights?

I found a set (2) of OEM taillights on my local craigslist for $150. Sound like a good deal? I painted mine flat black with only the reverse lights showing, I thought about picking these up and painting them in the GTR theme like my old vinyl overlays so I could switch between the two.

Buy Goof Off and you can strip the paint from your existing ones. I totally failed my first spray tint, the Goof Off took 3 layers of tint and 1 layer of clear coat COMPLETELY off. You can buy it at Home Depot.

EDIT: This is of course if you want to change completely, not going to help your swap. And I would say that $150 is a pretty good deal, I've seen them for like $99 each on eBay.

Goof Off takes a long time. A lot of rubbing. (that's what she said). Get a can of Lacquer thinner and you'll be done in no time. Phenom took off his tints off of his tails with that stuff at my house and he was done in like 15 min!...for both tails! BTW,..the thinner doesn't harm the lens in anyway shape or form..

Interesting...I thought the laquer thinner would have melted the housing so I stayed away from it. Plus I like the smell of Goof Off.

lol I guess it's a fair deal, I was thinking like $250 a piece for OEMs. I don't want to strip off what I have now, I was thinking this was a complete steal so I thought I would experiment.I offered him 130, but no reply yet.
