hmmmm. sounds a little steep. I got my 2008 M35 Sport with Tech package for $34,350 new with 5 miles on it. If it were new, I'd suspect that you would be able to get it for about $36,500. That car has been titled and therefore should have the first year's depreciation figured into it. Look up the NADA Trade In value on it. I suspect its less than $30,000. Now if it were a 2009 that would be a different story. Right now Infiniti Dealers are just trying to cut their losses on the leftover 2008's.

Seems high to me as well. You will be able to get a better deal than that.

NADA is $35,350 for dealer retail. There may be soom room for negotiation.

You need to balance that with the current ecconomic situation where - if you can still find one in your area - you can get a brand new 2008 M35 for essentially $12 - 14K off MSRP. So yes, I'd say you have some room for negotiation. The NADA trade in value is more important than the Dealer Resale number becuase it is a better guide as to what the Dealer took the vehicle in as a trade.

I wish people were not buying them up in Houston when I was buying 2 months ago! That could have saved me several thousand dollars! I guess the demand in different regions vary quite a bit.

Hey man, you are overpaying by at least 2 G. Here are the only true prices that matter, its called the black book. These prices show what dealers pay at auction and what they look to make selling on their lots. The dealer (if not original dealer) probably paid 29,500 for it as per trade-in value. This chart below is retail. This is the NATIONAL average, whereever you live, that region maybe a bit higher or lower. But this is what is being paid on the national average.

I wouldn't pay a penny over 33k personally.

good luck man. I just pulled the trigger myself at auction, will post that now!

Black Book Retail as of 02/09/2009

Extra Clean Clean Average Rough Base $33,000 $31,925 N/A N/A

Options $1,000 $1,000 N/A N/AMileage $0 $275 N/A N/ATotal $34,000 $33,200 N/A N/A

Bought a base 2008 with 11.3k miles CPO for @28,995+TTL on 1/5. Included tint, a little bit of paint touch up work, and buffed out a very minor bit of wheel rash. They had already done the 15k service (I'm guessing since they ate it, it was the least extensive service out of the three levels).

I then bought the wrap warranty from Courtney at Scotsdale. She was by far the cheapest. Did it over the phone. Had the docs at the house the next day via FedEx.
