Good deal on 1990 240SX?

Hey I'm new to the forums. I've always come here to search for information but just recently made an account. Anyways I'm looking at this car and was wondering if it's a good deal. Here's the craigslist ad: http://youngstown.craigslist.org/cto/4565944866.html I've talked him down to 1200. He said the frame rails are clean and there's no major rust. I'm fine with it having problems as I'd really love to learn to work on cars myself. Thank you I'm advance.

Price seems fair considering the issues, as long as there really is no rust problem.

I would offer 800 settle on 1k bottom dollar. Point out all the flaws go look at ot whip out the money hand it to him. Point out everything from light bulbs being out to low brake pads

Well I ended up finding a better deal on a '95 but he said it has a KA from an '01 Altima. I'm a bit skeptical though because I've read that the mounts don't match up. It is possible that it's really an Altima KA? The valve cover is red and I've seen some red valve covers in Altimas on Google images.

No it's not possible. Maybe a hot cam swap from an altima but thats it
