ok...im at a loss b/c this could be good but could be bad...my roomate baught a 91 hatch about 8 months ago and i did an sr swap for him...its a blacktop out of a 98 and had 37000 klm on it when swapped.. this i know for a fact i had it shipped from one of my best friends' shop in florida where i used to live..i was able to get it for $1,600, hell of a deal...anyway, the shell is in pretty good shape, the normal dings after 16 yrs, but no dents...the white paint is still nice! since then he has added rsr springs, and new tokico hp's. the interior is mint, not even a scratch in the dash let alone a crack, and i gave him a perfect pair of s14 seats from my car...heat and a/c work, i had to do some fab work but it blows ice cold...has 14 inch 280z wheels and goodyears...he put new brakes on, nothing fancy, about a month ago...motor is bone stock aside from megan racing pulleys and a 3" exhaust..head lights wont go down without doing it manually, and the car needs an alignment.. he met some kid with a bone stock 95 Se with 113k miles on it...bone stock...driver door doesnt open but other than that its flawless....good trade yes or know? i have mixed emotions b/c i did the swap and b/c the sr is in such great shape, im not sure if its a good trade or not...what do you guys think??also i should add that we live in cali and smogging is a *****, i went the propane way and got exemp, but he dont wanna pay that much to do it

I wouldn't do it, id keep my car, which its door opens perfect and the sr has like what 30K miles compared to the 113K id say bad deal. Specially if its bone stock. But thats your friends decision

i drove the s14, runs great everything works, the door my roomate can fix with no problem, and i can get sr longblocks for 800 from my friends shop, he just wants an s14 and this one is pretty clean, i tried to talk him out of it but at the same time i can see where he is comeing from, the s14 sr is much nicer and the bigger body makes for a more comfortable dd
