I was having a good day, just brought my car home from the shop everything fine. Getting to be that time that I would pick up my brother from school, so I check my car out under the hood to see if the I needed to add oil or antifreeze, like always I had to add antifreeze.

I go to back up and I pushed in the brake to stop, when I did, something went :(*pop* *thud*.....I put the car back in first and pull it in the driveway and heard this awful rubbing sound. Just got back home and looked, my whole brake thing is jammed into the side of my wheel. You can see it right there. No telling how much this will cost to get fixed. what a day this is turning out to be.

Okay think my problem is solved. MOm got home and took flashlight out and shined it on the wheel....yeah aparantely it did come off. It sitting against the wheel b/c you can see it against it.....mom said doesnt look like much and I dont think the wheel was damaged bad. I didnt go far. I think I backed up like 7feet or less and pulled it in the driveway, anyways.....

I had a friend of mine while back to put my brake shoes on b/c I didnt have really much left (have the old brakes I kept). The next morning I went to the car to get ready to leave and noticed this big screw. At first I was like $h!t he forgot to put this on my car, but yet it rained so I figure it came from the junk pile next door. Mom said I was lucky tonight to not have gotten on the road when it happened, I could have done more damage. But I'm gonna call this place in the morning and ask if they can tow my car and fix the problem.

I'm still not sure about the wheel, if the caliper might have cut into it or not. Yeah, I have a small hose with slits in it, gotta replace that and the other 2 hoses to be sure that nothing is wrong with them. Had to add some oil to my car today as well. See I know I need muffler and hoses. That was going to be it, but now I have this problem to worry about. Looks like I will be driving mom's truck til its fixed :( I have been driving my car for weeks now with that brake problem. It could have fallen off anytime, and I sometimes take interstate as well. Thats scary.

Haha, yeah 5mph is a dangerous speed man!It doesn't sound too bad though, nothing that a wrench couldn't fix anyways.A shop shouldn't be more than $20-50 if you have to take it there.

Yeah gonna call that place. They put my mom's brakes on for like 70bucks. Everywhere else was charging 99 dollars for all 4 plus tax. I went there for some tires and she said she didnt want my money b/c my back tires were still good and whoever said they were dry rotted were full of $h!t. She said any problems to see her. They would get it done right. I just wish then I would have told them to check my brakes then.

I talked to a good friend of mine about my car and he asked his mom's b/f and he came over. Jacked the car up and what had happed was the caliper had slide upward. He got it fixed and put my wheel back on tighten everything. He checked the other side so I would be safe. Said the next time my car decides to mess up it better be over at his house :pface lol

My car is once again on the road. :D Yes, I'm very happy.

Hey Dark, did you ever find out what was causing the rpm fluctuation? Just curious if it was MAFS problem or a vaccum leak?

Ya know I still dont know. lol It started to do that again but doesnt sound so bad since I had a new idler pulley put on. That guy said it was wore out BAD. I'm not so much worried about it, but I am going to put a lil new hose on 2morrow. Its the one that runs from the radiator to the coolant. Its like has bunch of slits in it. As long as it runs, and no wheels or any problems like that or nothing MAJOR i'm alright with it. But i am gonna still have that looked at, sometime hehe

I'm just glad it wasnt worse than what I thought.

I got one more thing fixed today. The overflow hose thing that runs from the radiator cap to the coolant jug. Now still lacking on my list muffler and 2 radiator hoses. That should be it. My car runs so much better since I got that valve cover gasket, it doesnt drop pressure or anything like it use to. When I"m at a redlight and I take off I could be down the road some and look back and the car behind me is like still sititng at the light lmao Which I always done that before but now its like *nana nana nan na* :D

My mom she likes my car but then she doesnt. She doesnt when it messes up b/c all she see is Expensive Expensive. I still want to take it to the drag strip down the road and give it a run. Another thing mom isnt fond about. lol But anyways..I should be set and hopfully *knocks on wood* no more problems.

the willies?? lol The past couple days I heard a popping on the right side of the car. So I took it up there today to the shop again, guy drove it around put it on the rack and checked everything. Said everything is good and tight. This damn car. lol Today I didnt hear a thing pop. Its been raining and wet. Mom suggested not to run the roads in case something happens, I said I aint afraid of my car. I would say whatever happens happens but I didnt. But I cant figure out why it popped for 2days and then stops...*shrugs*
