so i have had my 240 not turning on, and i asked around on the best nissan forums around (Yes NICO thats you!) for my problem. I finally received my fuel pump yesterday and installed it!

onto the good news!

I had problems with the battery, but she DID sound like she wanted to start. i took the battery last night to autozone for free recharging and testing.. this afternoon i picked her up, and put her on. no luck =/ .... it gets better... maybe 2 hours later i asked my dad to "just come see that it ALMOST turns on!!"" and i crank it and crank it,,, and try and try again. then im about to give up when i do it one last time and it turns over completely!!! but it dies out and my dad yells GIVE IT GASS!!!! hahaha

so i try again and she turned over and he RIPS it to up to 6k... im like not good its cold as hell and it hasnt turned on in like 3 months!!! so he lets it go to idle by itself and it dies.. Crank it AGAIN and he rips it to 4k (im inside the car and he is doing it from the engine so i see all the RPMs) and he idles it manually to 2 - 3k back and forth and i have the cheesiest smile on my face!! BUTTT she has a knock (i got a vid i will post later) and the knock was superhard like a cylinder wanted to come out, god forbid.

so i let her sit by herself and she smells like gass like she is running richhhhh... turn her off,, after like 5 mins,, and turn her back on,, without a problem this time!!

i had to go back to work wit my pops so i leave her on and all i think is about me going back home and turn her on lols!! so wen i do get home i turn her on and she literally uses ALLLL the gas,,, still with the knock.. and dies out.. i will make it a shorter story!!

so basicalli i get gas,, put it in her, turns right over,, and go fill her up with her favorite drink lol.. she was thirsty!!!

so i drive her around and drive her around with my music blasting so i can get my mind off the knock,, till she drives and feels like normal,,, and i lower my radio,, and i tell my brother,, "you hear that?" and hes like " what?" im like "no knocking!!!!" he has a 94 civic coupe white so i always crack on him just for s***s n giggles cuz its a honda lmao.. so yea basically today was an amazing day for me cuz of that!!

Dont you just love that feeling of finally getting to drive your car after months and monthss??

i was especially happy the knock went away though... i DID use lucas fuel injector and upper lubricant thingy watever lol so that mightve helped..

next on the list,, oil change and new tire to get my other 2 rims back on!!! lol

if you read all this i appreciate it,, im excited to finally get my car back!! btw im cracking on my brother cuz his lisence is suspended nd he dnt have insurance,, and i just got my car back and he is kinda jealouss lmao!!

one question,, is it necessary for me to change my oil filter since i drove it less than 100 miles since its last oil change? or do i HAVE to change it wen i change my oil? the filters basically brand neww

Ok i only read the first sentence and the last one.

Good that you got your fuel pump in.

And no you dont have to change the oil filter it wont blow up your engine.

Hopefully someone will answer the rest.
