OK this could of have been in the SR forms but it's about engines in general.

I did a compression test on my SR and they are supposed to be 156 and mine are 150's on all of them.

So that's good right?

Now my question. I have disappearing radiator fluid and was wondering, does that eliminate the possibility of a head gasket leak? I lose about maybe 1/4 cup every hour that I drive (I'm constantly refilling the reservoir)

If so, where else can radiator fluid just disappear ? I don't see any leaks.

Thanks

Correct that compression number is good if 156 is standard for the SR.

Blown headgasket..many possibilites lack in power..drinking coolant.mixes with oil..turns brownish, grey,,usually exhaust is smoking white puffy cloudsand it smells sweet as well.

Places I've heard of hoses failiing slightly are at the firewall/heater..I'd get a leak detector dye if you can isolate the leak. google that self explanatory.
