Do you guys remember a few months ago when there were 2 RB30 blocks for sale for like 300 each?

Who in their right mind would pay 1500 lol

they are. and the specs are pretty lame. i bought them before i knew anything about offsets and sizing. they're 17x8 +22/+32. pretty weak. the good news is, i have several local guys that are just waiting for me to put them up for sale. im leaning towards buying the same wheels again, but atleast a 9.5" +15 range for the rears. all depends how much fender work i want to do. i'd like to put a decent sized tire on it, but we will see. probably do wheels this winter.

that price is more likely to be pre-freight (before shipping) from AU. i imported severals, but no way i'm letting them go. you will have to deal with import customs, etc. the task usually left to importing brokers.

LMAOFor the record I showed discussed all the major 240sx swaps:RB25/262JZLS1 - He didnt want because it was domesticVQ - Is the best 240 swap. He didnt want n/aVGVH/VK - Lack of aftermarket support

I was not biased and I think all those swaps were capable of his final specs. It was his decisions

You said it right Joe!

LS1 is 100 some odd pounds lighter then a KAVQ35 is definitly lighter then a SR and KA

Yea its a dumb thread. I mentioned the motors I mentioned because the OP told me his specs.

500hp DD setup on pump gas.

Also a 750+HP setup for track.Name me an SR20 that can get to 500hp pump gas without serious money and mods invested?

PS 2JZ = 500hp with a boost controller

it does not weigh more.

if anything weighs more, its the transmission. the engine itself is lighter than a KA.

Who knows if he will acually go through the whole thing. The kid does have a nice Mistu GTS awd so he isn't new to cars. Just Nissans.

Not sure what a "PIVOT" man is but yea if some one comes to me with questions especially if they are from NICO I will not flame them, just answer them to the best of my abillity.

I guess that's the diffrence between us

iron is heavier than aluminum...

so cast iron block I-4 verses... aluminum v-6 block...

... one thing for sure... my beater ford I-4 block weights more than the rb26 block... I personally carried both...
