im getting ready to buy a clutch from ebay. Its a pro/clutch stage 2 four puck for like $2o5 plus shipping. I figure ill shell out the extra 75 bucks and get one that grabs a lot harder and lasts longer than an OEM replacement. After all, no matter what clutch you get, labor's gonna be thesame to put it in, just spend the extra and get a good one, itll be worth it

Anyone know if these Exedy clutches are any good? Would they stand up to drag launches and drifting? Is it worth wearing out my stock clutch for one of these?

Those guys proclutch on Ebay make all of their clutches in-house. They can give you just about anything you want. I got a stage 3 from them for like 250 and have had no trouble with it. Except it's a little chattery sometimes, but it grabs like a mofo when I want to go. The guy even told me if I didn't like it, he would exhange it out for something else.

I just got a daikin clutch kit (daikin is same as exedy) for 100 bucks shipped from ebay, it is a stock oem replacement.

Ok.. i dont understand. Maybe some of you with better Exedy knowledge can help me. I thought that all the Exedy clutches, with the exception of the bottom of the line single plate clutches, had a purple exterior. And i didnt think Exedy made the bottom of the line clutches for the KA.

exedy makes OEM replacements and are all good clutches. And they do make bottom of the line for the KA
