If the car is stock then theres no reason to get a clutch like that. Stock flywheel (get it resurfaced) and just get an exedy stage 1 organic. Pretty much stock replacement and thats all you need.

I was just about to say, not much hp gain for ka24e bolt ons. Spend your money on suspension.

The Stock OEM clutch and fly is all you need if you are ricing out the KAE.

But as has been stated multiple times before, spend your money on suspension, youll see way higher gains in respect to drifting from suspension than a performance clutch on the stock KAE.

ok, ill probly keep it simple in that area. ive changed clutches on hondas before. can anyone tell me how hard is it to change a clutch on a 240? how much heavier is the transmission than say a b series transmission?

Hehehe. You're in for a surprise. It's a two person job to maneuver that transmission. You could maybe do it yourself but I wouldn't recommend it. You'd save time with help.

The weight is about the same maybe a few pounds more. You can do it by yourself assuming the car is high enough. I have had to do it more than a couple of times because...well...my friends suck. It helps (a LOT) to re-install the transmission crossmember backwards a bit loosely. You prop the rear of the transmission onto the crossmember, lft up the gear box itself and hopefully worm the input shaft in place after a few tries without crushing yourself. It also helps to jack up the front of the engine a few inches. And clock the transmission over just a bit. It sounds more complicated than it is, but if you can get someone to help (or at least available to call EMS should the unthinkable happen) that would honestly be best. Lay down under the car and eyeball it for a few minutes. It will make sense.

ok that makes sense, seems like it would be easier to put the back end in first...thanks for the suggestions
