Good choice for CD Player for 1998 Q45

Hey guys I am new to the world of Infiniti and the Q45. I am getting ready to pickup my Q45 from a guy that has owned it for a while. He is taking it to the dealer for last oil change and also to have it inspected by the dealer to make sure that it doesn't need anything. He said if it does he will take care of any problems. It is in awesome shape the guy has really taken care of it. Anyway I am looking to replace the CD and Tape that is in the dash with something new. The current one has a missing #6 button and a tape is stuck in the dash. Could you please give me some recommendations to something that will work well and also plays mp3's. That will also fit nice and clean in the double din spot.

If you want to replace the head unit, you will require and adapter harness to match up to the Bose amplifiers.

A better solution might be to replace the head unit with another stock unit and add a Alpine 6 CD player in the trunk. I think there is a way to get an auxiliary input much like th guys have done on their F50. I fyou go this way, call Joe ( http://www.infinitipartsusa.com ) to see if the Alpine units with the proprietary controller are still available.

I guess you could go whole hog and go for NAV and satellite radio with BT and get a Pioneer AVIC Z-3. You will still need an adapter.

Not wanting to spend 1800 would like to try and keep the price down as much as possible on a double din that is not factor and would work with the bose amplifier. Please let me know what I should look at getting. When I pick the car up I am going to take it to get the windows tinted and a new cd player installed. I am picking the car up an hour away and in a larger town that has places were I can get these things done. My small town just doesn't have much choice.
