I want a racing seat for my S13 but not sure what to get. I was thinking a Sparco Speed or Sprint, since they are cheap. The problem is that i've heard that a lot of seats are difficult to fit in the S13 due to the stock seat being so thin on the bottom and the low headroom. I'm really tall so i can't lose any head or leg room. Anyone have any experience with these in the S13?

Thanks

Hello,

I have a Sparco Speed in my S13. The Sprint was too tight in the "lats" section but I don't know if that's because I work out or what! I'm 5'10" and weigh 168 pounds, if that helps.

Also, I used to have the Wedge Engineering brackets AND seat slider, but if I wore a beanie in the winter it would rub against the roof! Since I never adjust the seat forward or back, I just marked it's approximate location and bolted it directly to the bracket. Much better, but still tight with a helmet!

Welcome to NICO.

If you want to sit around stock or lower you either need side mount seats or if going bottom mount you have to use bride superlow bottom mounts.
