Well as I stated in a few of my post about some of my builds, and some of the other cars that I have, you may or may not have known that in addition to my 240sx, I have (had) a black 95 NSX.

well I had been tired of it and after years of putting through some abuse she was ready to be enjoyed by someone else and a few months ago up for sale she went. Right before christmas, I local gentleman bought the car from me as a gift for his wife (and i assume himself). Either way I was bummed out a little bit over christmas because I wasnt able to be with family this year and becuase one of my prized ponies was no longer in my stable.

But I held my emotions together and got through christamas. AND i just got back from the performance shop that works on my cars where my friend the owner located a 91 Lotus Esprit V8TT. The car has 44k original miles and the interior was recently restored. Driving this thing makes me feel like James Bond (now only if I can find a shop that can install ejector seats and make it submersible) anywho here are some pictures of my new baby.

NICE! I LOVE Esprits. It was really the first supercar I ever lusted after. I saw a black one on the highway a couple months ago and it rekindled my desire for one.

There is something just so sensual about them, granted its not a rocket ship in terms of speed, she is pretty quick BUT the handling, and the way the car wraps you, and how smooth the shifting is, and the sounds of that engine sends shivers down my spine lol. Much different ride than the NSX, but I def mean that in a GOOD way lol. This is by far one of the more epic sports cars I own. Now If my budget was a little bigger, I totally would have bought like a 87-89 Ferrari 328 GTSi.........that car makes me have naughty thoughts lol

It is a 1995 black on black M/T w/55k origional miles, two owner. has perfect monthly detailed interior (like new), 19in custom chrome wheels, brand new tires and a JL/Alpine a/v system. Engine has headers, titanium exhaust, carbon fiber intake and a ECU flash tune, plus new spark plugs wires belts, etc. Also full coil over suspension with all the usual bits like U adn L control arms etc. It was never dynoed, only once after to check the tune, and I think it made 290 to wheels, so i guess thats what? 300+ crank power. Thing was very well loved, albeit driven hard, but I did oil changes one a month and constantly checked everything with datalogging and gauges. I asked for 22K and ended up selling it for 19.5K The dude that bought it was really cool and a big enthusiast with his wife (who appearently he bought the car for.) But i think we both got a fair price and it def helped pay for my new Lotus.. . . . .fkin james bond style lol. Anyway its really crappy here in Texas right now, so if the sun comes out ill hook up my hero cam and take some still shots for yall

Did you put this on Prime? I hate to break it to you but your NSX was worth significantly more but I'm sure regardless of what you sold it for, you'll enjoy your new whip :)

Yea i realize i could have gotten more for the car, but it did need a new clutch and there was a small dent with a scratch in the front. I have tried to sell this for more in past, but the market for these cars isnt great right now. So i was looking for a quick sale, and it went to a good home. Plus I and thrilled with the Lotus! Its an amazing car that has the look that i really like.

^ YES. What he said. What other epic sports cars have you got?

Also, BEAUTIFUL car. I've loved those since I first saw one at a car show when I was little. Hopefully you enjoy the hell out of it and drive the wheels off. How about some audio car p0rn, too?

My cousin has a 98 esprit tt. Fun car handles amazing! Be careful modding it too much. You can get a ton of power just by modding ecu but the transmission is a weak point.

Definitely a solid upgrade... The NSX is on my list of "will own" cars, but the Esprit is about 5 spots ahead of it. There's a black one here in town (I believe it's a few years older than yours) that just makes me weak in the knees.

Yea ive truly enjoyed the esprit and what even better is that since ive never really been around lotus engines Im learning a ton about them. And the handling, i dare say that this esprit rivals most of the performance cars Ive had the honor and pleasure of driving. As far a modding it, I dont plan to really do much to. They body and paint is beautiful, so that wont be touched. Interior is like brand new (even smells new.....LOVE IT). Turbos were rebuild, and the engine has always had all scheduled maintenance done. The only thing that I am thinking of doin to it is get a custom fabricated exhaust from the downpipes to the tip (maby some sexy titanium muffler tips). Ive also looking into tuning the ECU a bit just to optimize, but im one of those "if it aint broke, dont fix it" kinda people and their is definantly nothin broke about this Lotus.

Also as a side note, my girlfriend returned from visiting her family today and discovered my new ride and well lets just say she had mixed emotions. I will say that she loves the car and says its "cuter" than the NSX, whatever the hell that is supposed to mean. On the other hand I got quite the lecture on how impulsive I am when buying things, and how the last thing I need right now is something else to occupy my already crammed time. But fortunately my sad puppy im sorry face is really effective so I ended up not getting beat up too bad over it. :rotflmao

In other news, Im about to update my build thread on the 240sx Rb20 build im doing. Ive had a really crazy end of 2012 and basically stocked up a bunch of parts and havent gotten around to installing them. But i promise its still getting love and i be posting tons of new pics and updates soon!

a crappy little bass boat that my brother owns, but has been rotting away in my metal shed for 2 years
then my girfriend drives a 2006 BMW 330, which is a decent nice car, but damn BMW are little buggers when it comes to maintenance. There is always something going on in her car.

Sorry I dont have a six car garage full of lambos and ferraris for yall to see :( but do have fun with what i got!

Lol. But surprising these two car are on the list of "reasonably attainable" exotic cars to own. Examples of either car can be found in excellent condition, low miles, and all records for 22-42k range and provide a lot of enjoyment. There are even a lot of Ferrari 308 and 328 gsti (with the fuel injected V8) with like 15-20k miles on em and I have yet to see one recently that went for more than 38-40k
