About time I jumped into something I can really work with. Looking for Evo 8, 350z or maybe an s2000. I will still be around if anyone needs help in the area or has questions.

Hey guys, just wanted to update you. I have decided to go with an s2k, maybe not as fun as an evo but a lot harder to drive with it being snap over-steer happy. The 350z engine is just a crap platform while the s2k is already built to handle 500-600hp no problem.

Still have: (+Shipping)
2.5 Nismo Exhaust - $600
2.5 Eibach Springs - $160
Carbon Fiber Trunk - $300

just make sure you get a hardtop (personally, i'm a fan of the spoon hardtop). and that's why you go with the 370z instead of the 350!

Over priced for what they are in my opinion. Also when I drove it, it still feels like a half a** sports car. s2k might now have as much power but 9k rev limit and after removing soft top, lighter battery, takeout AC & radio on an ap1 . . . talking 2500 area without driver. around 800 pounds less with only 90 less horse power.

Oh yeah, did I mention this will be my track/canyon car? =P

Hmm, ragging on a VQ? Odd...

Good luck with the s2000. It's a light quick car but you'll probably need new injectors, head gasket, clutch, pistons and a slew of other parts before trying to get to well 500+ hp with that car. It's not just a matter of slapping a turbo on and going to those numbers on any 4 banger.

Yeah, already talking to some s2ks down here putting down 620 to the wheels. Injectors and dif are the main concerns. But yeah, have 2 350z with twin tubos and having issues at 447 to the wheel. Not to mention its a heavy mofo.
