Good bye Mustang, Hello Versa

Just got my versa two weeks ago and I love it. Its quite a change from my mustang I had before. Now that I've started a family and have a 2 year old boy, i felt the need for something roomier, with a better fuel economy and a low price. I went down to a nissan dealership to test drive a used dodge calliber and drove off in a Versa instead. I dont plan on changing much on it. First thing is to get some black rims with chrome lip for looks, an overhead DVD player to keep my boy entertained on those long trips and maybe a CAI. Heres some pics. theyre the only ones i have. I had just gotten my windows taited the day before and parked in front of some sprinklers at work. I was told to not wash the car for at least 3 days so thats why its all dusty.

I just noticed that this Versa has the tail lights in white...are all Versa's the same?

That doesn't look stock. Did it come that way from the dealer? (might have been tweaked by them)

They're not stock. i got them off ebay. I agree with some people that these lights on the wrong car make them look chessy. Like on a mini van. Its like a fat chick in a thong bikini. No matter how you look at it. Its just wrong. However you get you get a hot girl with a nice body in a thong bikini. Well thats something everyone can enjoy. I think the Versa falls into the hot girl category. So i went ahead and orderd them,. The worse thing that could happen is i buy them, install them, dont like them, sell them back on ebay and loose 10 to20 bucks in the process. I think they look good and dont have that honda ricer look. hope you guys agree..

personally, I don't like them, but hey it is your car bud, e-bay lights are pure crap, they have lots of leaks, which allow moisture in, the plastic is cheap, and fades, cracks, yellows, and all that easily, and is just IMO not worth the money, pain, and hassle. To me it looks but hey w/e floats your boat! Good choice in color though! I didn't get rid of my Mustang for my V, did you? Have any pics of yours?

2000 V6 coupe was replaced with my V

1968 V8. (Blue car in the background on the second pic) First car I owned. Currently out of commission due to an electrical fire. Hopefully by august it will be up and running again

a V6!?!?!? hehe. I like the color, I have a black 01 GT Vert myself, but that is a lil too much visual mods for me, I do not like the aftermarket kits for the 99-04, is that an aluminum wing, or the Cobra R wing? For some reason I have always thought if you are going to buy the V6 why bother? It isn't a true Mustang! haha.

As for that 68, that is one bad@$$ motherlover!!! WoW I hope one day I can get myself a fastback, 67 preferably, and no not just because of Gone In 60 Seconds, but the 67 Fastback has the nicest body lines IMO, but the 65 is also nice! Well I hope that fire didn't hurt anyone, you drag it? What are you running?

Looks nice(all 3 cars).I was actually looking into buying the tail lights also but in black.can you take a few close pictures of your lights?I was wondering if they pop out more than the stock tail lights.i remember seeing a pic some where and it looked overlapping the trunk lid.thnx.

Who needs a V8 2000 when you have a V8 1968? I never liked the last generation of Mustangs, but to each his own. Take care of that '68, never get rid of that one.

the lights sitck out a lilttle bit. also I had to sand the holes for the light bulbs so they would fit and used an exacto blade to cut the right pattern. I considered getting the black ones, but they looked too plain. Im hoping they will come up with a carbon fiber look soon. I have the day off tomorrow so I'll take some pics then. If you do get the black ones please send me some pics so I can see what they look like installed.
