Good bye EX

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Haven't posted much recently as other hobbies have taken over my time.

With that being said I recently took the EX35 over to Carmax to unload it.

The car was great and in great shape when I "sold" it. The AWD did very well through the worst winter in MD history. Myself and my wife both have jobs that we must get to. The EX did not let either of us down no matter how much snow had fallen. I rated this sucker right up there with my Subaru's in terms of snow driving.

My really only complaint from the whole vehicle is the lack of space. Leg room in the rear is awful and the storae in the hatch is poor. If those things arent a "must" (and they werent for me) then this is a great car. Plenty of power to get around and have some fun with also.

I averaged between 20-24 MPG with mixed driving.

The reason I sold it....we are looking at getting into a house and the EX was eatting up a large amount of my cash flow. I realized that I should get rid of the EX while I was still ahead of payments and was able to put about 10k in my pocket. Plus it free's up the 500 dollars a month I was paying on it.

Still no regrets from owning the vehicle. I'd gladly consider another Infiniti in the years to come if I'm in a situation to afford one.

Sorry it was time to part ways with your EX35! I hope you still pop into NICOclub from time to time. I am sure before you know it you will be another satisfied Infiniti or Nissan owner, best of luck to you with the house!
