I never liked Glenn Beck. I found his conspiracy theories right in line with his church's eschatology. Considering myself orthos, I find it contradictory to my beliefs. While I can agree with the politics of a person that I don't share the same religious confession, when that person mixes their religion into their politics, then I can not agree with their politics.

I can handle him when he's talking about current events, sharing his take on those events, and maybe even when he discusses political issues in a historical perspective.

But his beliefs and my beliefs (from a faith standpoint) are quite divergent. As such, and given that he views almost all political issues through the lens of HIS faith, I find it hard to agree.

It‘s family values Republican Larry Craig soliciting sex in a men’s bathroom, it’s Mark Sanford “hiking in the Appalachians” while with his mistriss in Argentina, it’s Newt Gingrich (Republican presidential candidate) having an affair while his wife lays dying of cancer.

It’s Donald Trump – the next President of the United States! – and his much publicized affair with Marla Maples and his three marriages and counting.

Using Blaze logic, I have to conclude that these high profile Republicans, two of which are running for President, represent every Republican in the country. You say you’re in favor of family values, yet you cheat on your wifes, even if they are dying of cancer. And you like a little quicky in the men’s bathroom. All of you, all Republicans.

And you want to run this this Christian nation on the basis of your moral decay, dalliance with same sex encounters in bathrooms, multiple marriages, and infidelity? Forget it, I’m not going to vote for the party of sin and lust."
