Hi guys, Well im thinking about buying this 93 240sx fastback and I was wondering what is everyone’s opinion on it. Well it’s a White 93 fastback base model. Everything is stock no radio, the rear bumper has damage and needs to be replaced and the front bumper needs to be repainted. The interior is in good condition has a rip on the carpet on the drivers side hump in the floor. The car has 157k miles. Has no rust at all and the Body is straight. The guy wants 1500 for just car and 1850 with a Apexi GT Spec catback exhaust. I am probably going to buy the car with the exhaust so ill be paying 1850. Well tell me what you guys think. Oh yea i have not yet test drove the car, but i know the guy well and i trust him saying it runs really good. I am definitely going to test drive it before i buy it though.

Thanks

BTW sorry for the long post...

Yeah if it runs good after you test drive it then get it. S13's in my area go for almost double the price of what he's asking for.

Auto or 5 spd? Should talk him down to 1500 w/ exhaust esp. if you're paying in cash. 1850 is just too much for an 11 yr old car, that's less than perfect and w/ those miles. Honestly though, the way 240s are selling these days, a rustless car for that price isn't half bad.

Its a 5 spd. I tried to talk him down a bit, but he is pretty firm on the price. Should I just leave the exhaust and just get the car alone? I haven't found a used Apex gt spec for sale so I don't know how much it is worth.

Thanks

Please don't get that exhaust with it. It's the largest, most annoylingly loud and gaudy fart can that is completely overkill for any 240 running less than large T4.

Being quiet and slow > being deafening and slow.

How loud is the exhaust compared to the Apex N1?
