Good buy ?

Hi guys, I am planning on buying my first 240sx very soon. I am going to see one this week-end, a 1996 se it seems pretty clean according to description of ad and the pictures ... only problem is that it is automatic. Now he is asking 5500 canadian but I am willing to give him 5000 canadian.I would not be able to swap the transmission myself so a shop would have to do it... I think it would cost around 1000$ canadian more or less. Now for 6000$, if the car is pretty clean I think is worth it ... what do you guys think ? Thanks for you're input.Matthew G

its a good buy try to get him down more i just bought a 1996 240sx se also...black everything....and the only problem(s) are that the window motors dont work and its an automatic....clean interior new paintjob lowered on 2.5 inch drop kit and a 3inch custom exhaust.....all for 3200 US......so yes buy it...whatever ur driving now will look like a fool!...lol...

wow that sounds like very cheap ... I guess 240's go for cheaper in the US ... I am in canada, well thanks for you're input !
