I know 3900 is probably a lot for it but what should I talk it down to

The blue book is probably right around that area but damn, that is a lot of money for a car with 216k miles. I'd only give em 2500 but 3k is really pushing it...since he's asking 3900 i doubt he'd drop down to under 3k though. You can always try

It is only worth about 2,000 private party sale. I don't think he will ever get anyone to buy it for even 2500.

well the car has to be within reasonable distance. i live in santa cruz california and am willing to drive a couple hundred miles for one. however as another note, the car is owned by a nissan dealership manager so im guessing all service and maintenance has been done on time and properly.

man through out the number you want to pay, after that give him your phone, and walk, if he works for nissan then he prob. wants less but is going to go w/ the best offer, i hate care dealer people, when it comes to buying a car from them, thats what i would do.

wow thats WAY too much... as far as Im concerned, a car with that many miles is pretty much worthless. you ARE going to have to replace a LOT of things on it, or maybe (probably) even a complete rebuild or engine swap... make sure you know what you're getting into man... thats a ton of friggin miles...
