good buy or pass?

theres a 93 chuki for sale around my new duty station. this is what he posted on it

Well that underbody pic doesn't give me much info but the strut towers look good and that's where my s13 rusted a bit at.

I'd say no more than 2500, But I'd offer 2k first.

But I can't say much I only paid 200 bucks for my s13 :P

Looks clean and stock. But not worth 3K Maybe 2K if the following are good. I can see the ripped drivers seat. Dents, and why the mismatched wheel? (possible he/she hit something)

How are the frame rails and other rust known rust spots (drivers side frame rail at the bend down, sheet metal above frame rail right next to the exhaust manifold, rear drivers frame rail where the exhaust hanger comes off of, under the factory spoiler.

How well has it been maintained and what work has been done.

Who owns it? ie is it beat.

i would say start at $2000 and not go any higher than $2500...i mean its got a dings and dents and rips in the seat. How is the spare tire well? also check under the spoiler for rust?

From what you can see in those pics, it has a few dings and dents. And it looks like the pass side headlight cover is dented?!?? and look at the strut tower supports and frame rails. take a screw driver and poke around under there. rust can be covered up quite nicely. just be sure your not gettin in over your head.

Ps 2 grand is still a little high for a car that might need alot of work. be sure your getting your moneys worth out of it, and with 1 wrong tire from what i can see, maybe 2 bad rear tires, looks like it might have been played with.

And what i can see, looks like it has and alarm on it. Make sure that the wiring on that is good, no hack job. cause hack jobs on an alarms lead to huge headaches!!!

that car looks $2000 clean not worth 3k. never is a stock 240 worth 3k imo(unless its got 50k on the odometer or something)
