I would be very afraid to buy a custom set-up like that if you are as unknowladable as you say you are. You don't know truly what they have done to it to get it to work, and you don't know a lot of other things........

I would buy a stock s14 if you have the money like you say you do, then buy a sr and get it installed...........

thats just mho......

looks bad as_s but for that kinda money u could do most of it yourself and know what went into it.. but if ur lazy then go ahead.. if u have alot of money, then if somthing brakes u can pay to have it fixed right? looks sweet tho IMO

I agree...if you have that much money to go out and get it right now, you could probably build one the way you want it for nearly the same price, except you will KNOW where she's been. But like MasterMan said, if you have that kind of money, if something does brake, you can just pay to get her back on the road :P hehe...nice car though, but I'm not liking the missing center panel between the headlights...

Here's the problem...nowhere in that add does the seller mention an engine rebuild consisting of a resleeve and overbore of the block. This is important because he is using 300zx pistons...the stock bore size is 87mm on a VG30DETT (which is what is in a 300zx). The stock bore size on an SR20DET is 86mm...if this guy was dumb enough to overbore a nikasil lined aluminum block without sleeving it, that engine is NOT going to last long. Before I bought that engine, I would check with the seller about sleeving the block or at the least getting it re-lined in Nikasil. Ask to see receipts because this isnt the kind of thing to mess around with. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about any of that :)

"many upgrades"...

I suppose the white front end that looks like it will kill small children, the fast and furious stickers, and the colored interior counts as 'upgrades'...

:P

There is a big problem with financing a car that is priced well above the bank's expected value. The bank is un-impressed with modifications, in fact, they lower the value if the car is too heavily modified. I have had a couple of cases where I have had trouble selling one of my Zcars because I wanted significantly above book value.

If you can't pay cash, you have a problem.

that silvia is pretty nice, but as everyone already said, where has it been? but I guess with so many JDM parts floating around, you can get something easily if it breaks.

But I like to do things my own way, and put my own signature on it.
