I'm looking for a good bucket seat, probably Corbeau or Sparco. It'll be in my daily driver so I want something nice, but I can't tell that much of a difference when looking on websites, as they all look pretty much alike when looking at non-basic seats. Anyone have recomendations on a good racing bucket seat?

Sparco Evo II's are nice. Pretty comfortable for a race bucket. Otherwise, I'd say a Recaro SRD.

I have a sparco sprint seat in my corolla and I use it for DD. Its Ok unless you like leaning back while driving.

For a cheaper price get a corbeau forza. At only $220 a pop how can you refuse?

all depends on your body type and perfered seating position

the cheaper momo/sparco/corbeau seats are gonna be bottom mount and limit your seating position options (forward back adjustment no problem, tilting is usually unavailable)

the higher end seats that are side mounts (sparco evo, pro2000, etc) are sidemount and designed for a racing application. they are going to give you more mobility if you want it.

as for comfort, you are gonna have to go sit in one. its hard to buy them over the net. find a local tuner shop and see what they have. we are a sparco dealer at my shop and have a ton of seats on display for that reason.

i have a sparco evo, i love it. the evo 2 that was mentioned earlier is a wider seat than the evo.

I remember SPL used to sell full CF bucket seats.... they were nice and were side mounted for the lowest height possible... IIRC, they were like 400 per seat or something like that... which isn't bad at all, considering the material and funtioning involved...

but then I checked their site, and I no longer see it there

just pulled out a ****ty 3a seat(only bought due to broken stock seat and local junkyards wanted 150 for torn stock seats), clearly if you over 5' 6 your fvcked with bottom mount rails. Even with removal of the spacers its too high. Though about gutting the floorpan and smoothign it for the mount to be lower, but the trans tunnel is in the way...

next one I buy will be this http://store.summitracing.com/...w=skualong with a cover(summit since it will be pulled apart and extra cushion(bad back) will be added. Right now tho I'm in stock 91~94 seats(thank you marcus if your even on this forum 5 bux a piece is a deal) with the diy mod done and love them(so much I have tried giving away the stupid 3a seat), I do need to adjust bolster in a bit more for spirited driving. Only real complaint about stockers are the bottom is too soft and cushy.adrian the only one I have seen c/f lately is I think it was a signal auto(money money money ha money)

I was told they were not FIA approved seats. while to most people that doesnt matter but if you use your car on track they need to be FIA. not only that but i dont understand people who buy cheap seats. my buddy broke a BRAND new corbeau after a 30mph impack with a krail. seat was braced and everything like they/the rules recommend.

a seat is never something you should cheap out on. it can kill you if it breaks in an accident.

i have a Sparco Sprint, i love it, perfect seat for me, its nice and small, i fit in it perfectly! as for the rails it does suck its bottom mount but i have custom rails on mine that make it sit about 3 inches lowers than a sparco rail, im pretty much on the ground with my seat, i could go lower but i would need to cut out the stock mounting positins, and bang out the CAT hump and i have it sitting as low as a sidemount easily!
