i find myself learning songs that are more of a band oriented feel and turn them into 100% acoustic like Drive by Incubus and Don't Speak by No Doubt (because most people know the words to sing along) And thats how i get inspired. Find slow steady songs that you think an acoustic guitar could match up with and then play with your friends! Woohoo!
