#1) Can someone please direct me to a reliable source for S13 engine parts. A customer of mine is interested in building a motor for his 93 240SX and I'd like to know the best place to get parts (forged rods/pistons, head studs, etc.) I have a DSM shop, so I'm not too up on the best places to get 240 parts.

#2) Is the KA24DE the only motor that came in the S13? (its a 93, that's S13, right?) He claims it has a SR20DE, but I haven't seen the car yet, so I don't know for sure.

#3) The car is automatic. How much power (approx.) can the stock transmission handle?

#4) What brands of engine internals do you guys like best for a turbo application.

I thank everyone in advance and appreciate the help.

im sorry but if you dont know this stuff for the most popular car in japan right now, and the most common engine swap, u should not have a shop, or a website.1) they are everywhere, is he building a sr or a ka2) in the us, yes the ka is all we got, in japan they got a sr20det, the sr20de is what comes in the se-r sentra. s13 is the chassis code for the 89-94 240sx.3) auto transmission = gay4) what motor?http://www.ka24de.com/

Japanese s13's also had a ca18det, and sr20de. The ca motors were in the 89-90 model silvias and 180sx's. I am pretty sure he is a moron and does not have the sr20de, unless he went through the trouble to swap it. If he did he is a moron and should not own the car.

There were even SR20DE S14s too, not just the turbo one. Anywayz, 240s are not all that mainstream yet, ALOT of people and shops i know in my area are still very unsure what theese cars are capable of, and how well they handle. If its an SR, theres lots like heavythrottle.com enjukuracing.com theres more, but i cant think of them, theres all kinds of links on this site, check em out, you should be able to build a race car with the info on this site, just add money!!

Thanks for the replies guys.

Quicksilvia: As I said, I have a DSM shop. Pretty much all we do is DSMs. I don't know all that much about 240s and wanted to be sure of a few things before I did any work. I don't see how my questions are unreasonable.
