name your price and off you go. unlimited miles, but you'll want to turn the car in while you're away and rent another one for the return trip. also,at the end of the day it would prolly be cheaper to fly because the rental dealer will charge you a fee to drop the car off at a different location and flying will save you a bunch of time and hassle.

Why don't you just drive your car?

Most rental companies nowadays - have unlimited mileage. You will pay by the day (usually highest) or a discounted weekly or weekend rate. You proabably will rent the car for a week (at least 5 days) to go to florida and back.

You need a major credit card, you can decline rental insurance since- you should be fully insured for your altima. (the may threaten you by saying - if you are in an accident we want our money immediatly - if you are unsure you should check with your insurer BEFORE you rent). If you are under 25 there might be a surcharge, and there will be a charge to add drivers.

What are you saving the miles on your car for?? This would be the cheapest way to go - as you will only pay for gas.

1025 is alot wow.

Kayak is a pretty cool site. Thank you.

I noticed that it is going to cost 200 a day to rent a car from philly to miami. So that means that i have to pay 400. I dont really want to beat my car up like that.

1200 miles to miami, so like 2500 total. Hmmm thats not 2 bad.

Im now confused.

all the same search engines! But they usually leave out some airlines like southwest!

so be sure to check http://www.southwest.com

Also, it may be cheaper to do a one way rental from PA to MIAMI, and then do a one way rental from MIAMI back to PA!

Dude you are crazy to drive... it's much, much cheaper to fly. A buddy of mine and I were planning to go to UMF next year (philly, PA to Miami, FL) and I checked into costs of flying vs driving...

Even with driving your own car and only paying for gas, it's still cheaper to fly...

Maxentropy.. what if theres 4 people going? still cheaper to fly? What if your girlfriend refuses to step on a plane? What if its delayed (as usual) and your cruise sets sail?

He didnt ask which was cheaper (or i would have ran to the rescue lol) He just asked for some rental deals!

Not sure about 4 people, but for 2 it was cheaper to fly.

If your girlfriend refuses to step on a plane you leave her at home and pickup a hotter chick once you land.

Flights get delayed a lot yes. Driving to Florida may put your car to the test and overheat it, or you may be stupid and run out of gas, or your tire might blow out, or a pig may fly into your windshield killing both you and your girlfriend, or the world might end.

Ahhh the possibilities of a roadtrip...
