Gonna buy a 2006 Pathfinder tomorrow, anything I should know??

In case you haven't seen my thread in Gen Chat I'm done with BMW's and will be trading the 325i in for an 06 Pathfinder tomorrow!!

I already know what I want and all but I am wondering if there are any things that I should know about them, I have never owned one. The only SUV's I have owned have been 4Runners.

Are there any problems to look forward to and the such?

Any advice/help/info would be greatly appreciated.

GREAT upgrade!

I can't think of any persistent issues with the Pathy off the top of my head, they're pretty well-sorted at this point.

I have a 2005 Pathfinder and my wife loves it (i am more of a VW guy myself but the Touareg was out of our price range) It has gobs of power. Our only complaint is the squeaks and rattles, but it is a "truck" after all. Oh, and the windows rattle like crazy when they are not shut or all the way down and the dealer says that is how they are desinged...but over all we like it.

yeah the doors on my maxima make a sort of rattle noise when you shut them without having the windows all the way up....kinda annoying but it's easy to deal with.

ddg, did you go through with the purchase? My mom's looking at getting either a pathy or a murano. Let us know how you like it!

I thought that I saw in another thread pics of a white pathy that he bought.....will have to see if I can find it.

Yeah the stop engine light sensor is a problem pervasive to Nissan's that the company can't seem to figure out. Can be extremely expensive to repair and little to no help from Nissan......
