Where did you buy it from? It's RHD, and judging from the plates, Europe?

I have my 89 hatchback civic, I use that as my daily driver car. To many people that puts dents and scratches on them.

I have worked on a lot of civics and have done many Honda engine swaps. They are great cars, with tons of potential and aftermarket support. Reasons that they are unappealing to me are because they are stolen a lot, and everyone has one. I had a CRX Civic as a project. You should put a little B16A in that thing and see what it does. They are tons of fun.

Who cares what badge it has on its hood. I have read about a guy custom fabing a 427 CI motor into a Ford Focus. If its fast and handles, I am there.

I agree, I am down with any car that looks good, handles and goes fast (and is in my price range). I would get a honda if it was cheap enough, looked decent and I was able to mod it.

i like the eg6 model. there fun cars to play with motor wise. body kit for it are juss wack. ricers did screw hondas name up. The eg6,ek9 and dc2 models are fun to drive. i am considering buying one soon for a daily driver cuz my 240 juss eats gas like crzy!!! and use my 240 for when i get very angery and want to go auto-x/drift with it. i would never sell my 240....

Yes I am back in my native Scotland for now - hence the right hand drive and UK plates on it :)

Yeah the car has only just done 73,000 miles and has a full service history.

I Bought it as a stolen/recovered from the local yard and then replaced all the locks. :)

It is a very clean car overall and was serviced at the dealer for its entire life so far.

I just put the 17" alloys on for the guy that wants to buy it on Friday - if I was not likely to be going on another contract in the next few weeks I would probably have kept it as it drives very nicely and hits the limiter at 7000 rpm (clock goes to 9000rpm!) :)

Well when a 1995 Honda Civic with 72,000 miles in very clean condition with a full dealer service history is offered at US$1100 with a new lock set I'm sure you would not deny that it is a very good deal indeed. ;)

The day or two that it took me (at leisure!) to repair and sell is well worth it I'd say! ;)

Uhm - just how many of the Nissan models are RWD? ;)

FWD is fine for intermediate drivers even when racing - RWD can get you in a lot of trouble if you are not skilled to be honest.

And that goes for any sexual orientation ;)

Yeah you really need to thrash the bollocks off these little engines but they are fairly quick and do handle reasonably well.

It is not nearly as sure footed as my '95 240SX - but it is a different class of car altogether.

The UK spec ESi Vtec (Mine is the LSi) with 165bhp should be more than enough to bring a grin to the face though :D

I never got her put together. I dropped off my turbo at the shop to get oil and collant fittings.... and i hit the deer that night.
