WOW that looks like a very clean engine set. Lets hope the internals are also as nice. Good luck with the swap. btw, How much did the motor set cost you, if you don't mind?

You unbolted them from the motor not the clip correct? If you unbolted them from the motor and they are some how rusted on spray PB blaster on them. Also check and make sure you removed the transmission mount bolts.

pb blaster and a blow torch, maybe a pnuwrench with a swivel extension.

also a cheater bar if you have it overhead jacked, which is basically sticking a lead pipe of the end of your ratchet. It might break your bolt but hell, if your desperate you might just get the lift to finish the job

Dude just undo all of your mount bolts on the top and bottom of the mounts and remove the transmission mount from the clip and it should side right out.

use a hammer. if that does not work, get a slug wrench, and hammer on that.

(i made a slug wrench for the 27mm(?) half shaft bolts. makes it a whole lot easier)

heres how i remove the motor. VERY Simple!

1. remove mounts, vacuum lines, coolant lines, intake, fan shroud, radiator, lower harness, transmission sensors.

2. drivers side mount, get it from the top. double wrench the "golden nut" that is seen under the turbo. its a 14mm.

3. passenger side mount, get it from the bottom. again, another 14mm brass nut. very easy stuff when using liquid wrench and double wrench!

4. place a jack under the transmission, and undo the 4 c-member bolts, the driveshaft (i just remove the front yolk of the shaft, its held in by 12mm bolts and nuts).

5. now have a friend start lifting the motor until the mounts are off the motor. then have him back up about 2.5 inches. then you slowly balance the transmission, and angle it away from the transmission tunnel. have him back up a few more inches while you hold the transmission. when it clears the rack and the firewall, start lifting slowly.

6. there! its out!
