I am thinking about going up one on tires/wheels on my G35 Coupe Sport pkg to

245/35 -19's and 275/35-19's.

Has anyone had or heard of problems with doing this?

Kg-It's no problem... go for it.I ran a similar setup in my 03 Coupe for about 2 years.Although you will want to go 30 profile in the back to keep the tire diameters the same.

Here was my exact setup. Rims were Piaa SuperRozza's...fit was PERFECT!Front: 19x9 +25mm offset ... 245-35-R19Rear: 19x10 +25mm offset ... 275-30-R19

A few things...

The stock wheels on the G35 19s are 8" front, and 8.5" rear. I'm not sure the 30s will fit properly...can anyone confirm?

Using the sizes:245/35 -19 front275/30 -19 rear

The front tire will be 6mm taller than the rear...

Stock size difference has the rear 16mm taller than the front.

My solution was to use:

255/35 -19 front275/35 -19 rearDifference of 14mm.

But I'm not sure if the front tire will rub or not...if you go down to the 245 for the front, the difference increase to 20mm. Not sure if thats too much for the VDC or not...

Check out this website to play with the numbers:

Honestly...either setup will work fine. If you want to match the difference from the stock setup you can certainly go 35's all around. BUT if you are going to put a drop on it, you'll want to keep the tires as close to even in size as possible so as to make your wheel gap equal.

I ran my setup (above) for 2+ years under an Eibach Pro Kit drop. You won't rub (assuming you use the +25 offset) nor will it throw your VDC off. I'll look hot.

Your right...I didn't think about dropping it! I'm more of an "old school" look of big rear tires and smaller fronts...like drag cars.

I'm still up in the air on what size to get though. I'm keeping the stock 19s and offsets...
