I just noticed three new additions to the local pull-a-part, so I'm going to go brave the nearly 100 degree heat and check them out tomorrow.

There are two 94s and a 95. I have no idea on colors, or what's still there. Please let me know if you have parts requests... These should be relatively easy for me to remove, no differentials or drive shafts :gapteeth: .

I'm thinking mostly trim items, which are rarely in good condition, modules, relays, stuff like that.

I'll probably go around noon tomorrow.

There are 2 clips that hold the sunroof rear drain rail onto the sunroof, see if those are pull-able.. :) I still havent installed that drip rail that you got for me because I had no way of attaching it to the sunroof..

Im also looking for a wood trim bezel with window switches if its cheap. Mine is OK but id like one that is a little better.

if I think of anything in the morning I'll email you..

The local P-n-P has a blue 91 from March 8 still in the yard. I think it will go to the crusher around June 8. The last time I was there, it was all locked up so I couldn't get inside the passenger area.

It was definitely failed timing chain guides that halted the car's service life. The body was in relatively good shape for a car that had been sitting under an oak tree for some years. I could tell from looking at the engine, the previous owner(s) didn't have a clue about maintaining the car.

If it is still there this weekend, I can make a stop by the yard.

Wes,

Do you have a way to shoot me a diagram from FAST? I seem to remember the rail I sent screwed into two plastic tabs that sat about 40 degrees to the track and slides with the roof. I doubt those come out without pulling the cables, but maybe my memory is fuzzy.

I could use the wide plastic under bumper piece that screws on to the bumper cover bottom trailing edge and attaches to the bottom front of the radiator support, some sort of small cover. Mine's been missing since I got the car and I don't know what it looks like, only where it screws to.

The fast doesn't show that I don't think because you can't buy separate parts for the sunroof anyway

Sorry guys... no luck on either front. The bottom shields on all three were gone. Shifter bezels were less than stellar, and honestly it was just too damn hot to do much sunroof wise. I'll look some other time when it's not 100 degrees - we seem to have a pretty good trickle of Qs going through there.

Is there a way to look up on the computer local boneyards that have old q resting in them?

Pick-n-Pull has a global search option like the following. Dallas has the most on that search.

For Pull-a-Part it looks like Atlanta locations and Birmingham have the most stock.

Hi guys... I went yesterday and won't be going back until they get more Qs on the lot. I'll try to remember to revive this thread the next time I go.

Is it too late to go back and look for a tcs actuator for a '94 Q?

What is a TCS actuator?

I've got a BIG computer module from a car with TCS - Nissan part number 47850 67U10 that I don't think I can use on mine that I've been holding for someone that needs it someday.

Now this is an expensive part.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the secondary throttle body with the motor mounted on the side? I'll keep an eye out... the Qs that were there were all non-TCS. TCS seems to be a fairly rare option in the snowless South.

The TCS actuator is bolted to the passenger side (USDM*) wheel well (4 bolts). It has a brake fluid reservoir/lines attached to it.

Can you bring me back a quart bottle of bud and a couple of slim jims? I'll gladly repay you next Tuesday.

Make that a quarter bottle of bud and a couple of jimmy hats and it'll be pretty much standard fare from the back seat and trunk of our typical pull-a-part Q.

If you find a jimmy hat you can pretty much count on the rear window actuators being bad. Skip them. That's a souvenir I would never keep around!

All this talk of Buds and Slim Jims is making me hongry.
