hey guys i have a few questions for you about some mods that i was thinking about.

I would like to start modding my 2003 g35 coupe 6mt, and wanted to know what you guys though.

1. First on the list of mods are intake kits. do you guys think i would be better off with a stillen high flow airbox or a jwt popcharger kit?

2. Plenum/Spacer. I talked to the guys at motordyne engineering and they told me that the mrev2 wouldn't do a whole lot on my car since it is a non-revup motor. This leaves me with a choice of either the kinetix ssvv system, or a half in spacer from motordyne. do you guys think the kinetix system is worth the extra $500, or should i just stick with the spacer?

3. Exhaust. I was looking at either the borla system or the stillen system. My biggest concern is that since my g35 is lowered, i'm worried about a low pipe draggin when I inch over speedbumps. With that aside, from what i've seen, hp gains are similar in both systems, but the stillen is about $300 more, but i do like the sound of the stillen more, so do you guys have any prefrence?

And i have one more general question...about how much power can i add without having to worry about to much wear on the stock parts?

I think thats about it for now, and thanks for giving me the modding bug...

JWT pop - 5\16th Spacer - Stillen True Dual Exhaust...

A safe range is around 375-400HP .. which most Turbos will put a little more of 425-440 HP ... which should be safe

Welcome to NICO!!

Look around at some of the threads; they'll give you good ideas on what direction you should take with your car. Gimli is right on with his suggestions and numbers.

To answer your question about the differences between the Borla and Stillen, more people prefer the sound of the Stillen. I have the Stillen and I can vouch for it's awesomeness!

OMG Yerv is alive

I think the Blox spacer is the best bang for the buck. I can't see spending upwards of $200 on a spacer.

Check the mod database and listen to all of the sound clips. The Stillen is ok. There were a couple others that really send tingles through my spine.
