going to paint what do you think

Car is going out to paint this week. This will be a complete strip and color change. Color will be BMW Toledo Blue.

The qestion is should I have the side stipe and that back windsheild / roof trim put back on after the paint. I actuall think the roof trim stuff looks good... what do you guys think?

i personally like the gold color on the M3...but that's kinda super high profile right there...that toledo blue is cool too...if you ask me, black is always the best

Looks like a nice color choice. I say keep the roof stuff, ditch the stripe.

Would it be considered untoward of me to ask how much all of that will cost? ****...it probably will be, but I'm still gonna ask.

How much, approximately, does something like that cost?

If I were to pay, it would cost abot $5500. The BMW paint is a multi stage process... just the paint is close to a grand... The car needs minor body work.

The paint job will be "free". I gave a few hours of my consulting time in trade for the all the work plus all the mechanical work including the motor transmission swap and spring strut install.

The car should end up looking pretty good...

I should have pics up in about two weeks at the most.
